This system developed by the atmospheric physics group in Wuppertal comprises three different modules (with overall 5 measurement channels) employing gas chromatography, electron capture detection, mass spectrometry and infrared absorption to analyse the air composition during flight. HAGAR-V thus obtains highly resolved in-situ measurements of a variety of long- and short-lived greenhouse and ozone-depleting gases.}
